Every casting call worth your time. In your inbox before breakfast.

The Call Sheet is a daily email from a working talent agent. Five to twelve real briefs, Monday to Friday, each one with my call on whether it is worth your application.

I already do this filter every morning for the models on my roster. Now you get to read over my shoulder.

Founding rate closes Tuesday 15 September, or when 50 seats are gone.

The problem

You are not short of listings. You are short of judgement.

You already know where the jobs are posted. You have the app. You get the alerts. That is not the problem.

The problem is that ninety of every hundred listings are not for you. Wrong city. Wrong look. Unpaid and pretending otherwise. A brand collaboration that is a discount code. A photographer building a portfolio at your expense. A brief so vague that nobody has actually been cast from it in two years.

So you do one of two things. You apply for everything, which takes four hours a week and teaches you nothing. Or you stop opening the app, which is what most people do by month three.

Neither of those is a career. Both of them are what happens when nobody has ever shown you how a professional reads a brief.

The gap

The people getting cast are not more talented than you. They are better filtered.

They apply to six things a month instead of sixty, and they get callbacks, because every one of the six actually suited them.

That is not a talent gap. It is an information gap, and it is the easiest gap in this industry to close.

Who is writing this

I read these briefs for a living.

I am Megan Coleman. I run Coleman & Co, and I represent talent for a living. Models, content creators, and on the motorsport side, drivers.

Every morning before anything else I go through the day’s casting calls and paid creator briefs and decide what is worth putting in front of the people I represent. Most of it is not. That decision, made quickly and correctly, is most of what an agent actually does.

The Call Sheet is that decision, written down and sent to you.

What arrives

What lands in your inbox, Monday to Friday, by 7am.

Five to twelve briefs. Casting calls, paid creator briefs, brand campaigns, extras and background work, and the occasional agency open call. Australia wide, sorted by state.

My call on each one. One line, no fence sitting. Worth your morning. Only if you are Melbourne based. Skip this, the rate is below scale. Apply today, this one closes at noon.

What they actually want. Briefs are written badly on purpose and read badly by everyone. I tell you what the client is really casting for, in plain words.

The rate, when it is published. And a flag when it is not, because a brief with no rate is a negotiation, not a job.

A link straight to the original. You apply yourself, direct to the source. Always.

Friday: the week in one email. What got filled, what is still open, and what the market is asking for right now.

The obvious question

I already pay for a casting site.

Good. Keep paying for it. The Call Sheet is not a replacement for a listings platform and I am not going to pretend it is.

A platform sells you access. Thousands of listings, a search box, and the entire job of working out which of them are real left to you. That costs about twenty dollars a month.

The Call Sheet sells you the opposite. Not access, judgement. It is the same twenty dollars, and what you get for it is the ninety listings I have already thrown out on your behalf, plus a reason for each of the ten I kept.

If you have four spare hours a week and two years of experience reading briefs, you do not need me. If you have neither, this is the cheapest agent you will ever hire.

Fair play

Three rules I have published so you can hold me to them.

I represent talent and I am selling talent a list of jobs. You should want to know how that works. So here it is, in public.

One. This is research, not representation. Subscribing to The Call Sheet does not make you a Coleman & Co client. I do not submit you, negotiate for you, or take a commission on anything you book. You apply yourself, direct to the source, and whatever you earn is entirely yours.

Two. Every listing here is a public casting call, and my roster gets no head start. Nothing in this email is exclusive, held back, or leftover. Every brief is a publicly posted call, sourced the same day, available to anyone including you. The people I represent are submitted by me. You apply for yourself. Nobody is getting a listing the other one did not see.

Three. Signing with me is never something you can buy. If you are right for the Coleman & Co roster, that is a separate conversation with a separate agreement, and it will never be an upgrade, a tier, or a bonus attached to a subscription. Paying me more does not make me your agent.

If I ever break one of these, tell me, and take the refund.

Who it is for

Who this is for, and who it is not.

This is for you if you are already applying for things and not hearing back. If you are a model, an actor, a UGC creator, a content creator, or all four depending on the week. If you can act on a brief the same day it lands. If you would rather send six good applications than sixty bad ones. If you are building this seriously, even if it is around a job.

It is not for you if you want someone to apply on your behalf. That is representation, and this is not that.

It is not for you if you are looking for guaranteed work. Nobody can sell you that, and anyone who tries is selling you something worse.

It is not for you if you are outside Australia. Everything here is the Australian market.

And it is not for you if you want a weekly summary. This is daily, and the daily is the point.

The offer

Join the founding 50. AU$12 a month, locked for as long as you stay.

Fifty seats. When they are gone the rate goes to AU$19 a month and the founding rate never comes back. Not at Christmas, not at the next launch, not for anyone.

Founding members also get a fifteen minute portfolio review with me in the first month, first look at any Coleman & Co brief you are right for, and your name on the founding list.

It closes 11:59pm AEST, Tuesday 15 September 2026.

After that it is AU$19 a month, or AU$190 a year, which is two months free.

Not ready? The Friday edition is free, forever. Five listings, once a week, the same filter.

Objections

The honest answers.

Is this just a list of things I could find myself? Everything in it is publicly posted, yes. That is deliberate, and rule two says so. What you are paying for is that I have already read all of it and thrown most of it out, and that I tell you why. If you have the time to do that yourself, do that yourself.

Will you get me work? No. I will not submit you, pitch you or introduce you, and I will never claim otherwise. Read rule one.

What if there is nothing for me that day? Some days there will not be. I would rather send you four listings and tell you it is a quiet Tuesday than pad it out to ten and waste your morning. The Friday wrap catches anything that opened late.

I am not in Sydney or Melbourne. Is this worth it? Every edition is sorted by state and I flag remote and self tape briefs separately, which are the ones that actually open the market up if you are in Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide. But be honest with yourself about volume. There is less work outside the two big cities and no email fixes that.

Can I cancel? Any time, in one click, and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for. And if the first fourteen days are not what I said they would be, email me and I will refund you in full.

Do you take a cut if I book something? No. Never. Rule one.

Proof

I am not a newsletter person who found a niche. I am an agent who writes a newsletter.

Coleman & Co represents drivers and talent, negotiates partnerships and runs media campaigns for people whose careers depend on being chosen. That is the day job. The Call Sheet is a by-product of it.

Below is a real edition, unedited. If it looks useful, the free Friday one will look exactly the same.

The close

Tomorrow morning, one of two things happens.

Either you open the app again, scroll for twenty minutes, and apply for something you half suit. Or you open one email, read ten lines, and know exactly which two things are worth your morning.

It costs twelve dollars a month to find out, and that rate is locked for as long as you stay.

Fifty seats. Closes 11:59pm AEST, Tuesday 15 September.

Terms

The boring but important part.

The Call Sheet is published by Coleman & Co. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from the link in any edition or by replying to any email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Full refund within fourteen days of your first payment, no questions asked.

The Call Sheet is a media product. It is not a talent agency service, an employment service or a placement service. Subscribing does not create a representation relationship with Coleman & Co. Coleman & Co does not submit subscribers for work, does not negotiate on their behalf and does not take commission on anything a subscriber books.

Listings are summarised in our own words with our own commentary and linked to their original source. Coleman & Co is not the publisher of those listings, is not responsible for their accuracy, and has no involvement in the casting decisions behind them. Always read the original brief before you apply.
