Growing Into Me by Tracey Cochrane, front cover

A book of poems and a journal, in one

Growing Into Me

A Journey Back to Yourself. Thirty poems by Tracey Cochrane, each with a reflection and a page that is yours.

Growing Into Me is a book to read slowly and write in freely. Thirty poems, in four sections, each followed by Tracey's reflection on where it came from and A Moment for You: a prompt with ruled and dot-grid pages for your own words. In Tracey's own words, think of it like a friend sitting beside you, one who doesn't judge or interrupt but just listens.

What's inside

The book moves through four sections: The Stories That Shaped Me, The Courage to Change, Growing Into Me, and Being Me. Read it front to back, open it wherever you feel drawn, or return to a poem when you need it.

  • Thirty poems

Plain-spoken, rhyming poems about childhood, motherhood, change, stillness and coming home to yourself. Each one opens with a single line to carry with you.

  • Reflections and A Moment for You

After every poem, Tracey shares where it came from, then hands the page to you with a question and space to write.

  • Your Journey Continued

A closing companion section with journal prompts, breathing and morning practices, and the books and teachers that shaped Tracey's own path.

About Tracey

Growing Into Me was born from my own journey of learning, healing and discovering who I am beneath the stories.

I didn't set out to write a book; I am not a psychologist or an expert on life. I am simply a woman who has lived, loved, struggled, made mistakes, learned, grown and continued to ask questions, and I continue to make mistakes today.

Poetry became a way for me to put feelings into words. Yoga, breathwork, meditation, studying NLP and hypnotherapy, and simply becoming more curious about myself, helped me understand that while I cannot change what has happened in my life, I can choose how I want to be going forward.

I don't believe we ever finish becoming who we are. I am still learning. I am still Growing Into Me.
