Ellexandra Best is one of Australia’s most exciting young racing talents, carving her own path through the world of motorsport. Often introduced as “Zak Best’s sister,” the truth is she raced first, earning her nickname “The Original Best.”
From karts to Excels, production cars, Bathurst podiums, and now the national SuperUtes Championship, Ellexandra is proving herself as a standout in one of the toughest categories.
Ellexandra’s career already includes milestones many drivers spend a lifetime chasing. She became the Australian National Ladies Karting Champion, made history at Phillip Island as one of the youngest drivers to win a production car race, and in 2023 wrote her name into the record books as part of the first all-women’s team to podium at the Bathurst 6 Hour.
Today, Ellexandra competes in the V8 SuperUtes Championship, piloting a Mazda BT-50 across iconic circuits including Bathurst, Darwin, and the Gold Coast. Her 2025 goal: finish inside the Top 10 in the national standings, while building toward her long-term dream of racing in Porsche Carrera Cup - fittingly, her middle name is Porsche.
